OVERVIEW
PMI’s Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) ® Exam Prep training is offered for those who are interested in gaining clear concepts on the project risk management as per the best practices recommended by PMI and to pass the (PMI-RMP) ® credential exam in first try. Such credential holders have global recognition with increasing demand as specialists of project risk management.
(PMI-RMP) ® certification provides recognition of one’s competency and expertise in risk management processes of planning and identifying project risks that include both threats and opportunities. Also a (PMI-RMP) ® credential holder has good insight of risk management processes such as ‘perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis’, ‘plan risk responses’ and ‘control risks’ and with insight of such knowledge greater value is added by better handling of project risks.
PREREQUISITES
A four-year degree (bachelor’s or the global equivalent), with at least 3,000 hours of project risk management experience and 30 hours of project risk management education.
OR
A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent) with at least 4,500 hours of
project risk management experience and 40 hours of project risk management education.

Developing a Risk Management Plan using PMBOK ®Guide’ suggested Input – Tools &Techniques- Outputs (ITTOs).
Identifying Project risks and creating risk register using the ITTOs as annotated in PMBOK® Guide.
Improving Project Performance through Qualitative Analysis based on Performing probability and impact analyses, applying the probability and impact to enable ranking of project risks through risk scores and in perspective of stake holder tolerance areas and risk thresholds.
Analyzing Risks Using Quantitative Methods for determining probability of achieving cost and time objectives, calculating appropriate contingency reserves, understanding concepts of modelling and simulation techniques such as Monte Carlo. Expected Monetary Value (EMV), Tornado Diagramming, etc.
Risk Response Planning through use of the appropriate strategies to handle both positive and negative risks and understanding the concepts of residual and secondary risks.
Controlling Risk using the ITTO as suggested in PMBOK® Guide.
